Do we take for granted the very presence of God? I ask this question from a sincere heart. To answer it we should consider the many ways we are in God's presence. First I believe we come into His presence through conviction. It is by conviction of sin through the Holy Spirit that we are introduced to God through Christ as our redeemer. As Christians we stand in the presence of God through conviction of righteous and unrighteous living. Then there is prayer. No one can deny we are in the presence of God when we are in genuine prayer. It is through prayer we experience arguably the most intimate relationship possible with God. Neither can we ignore the presence of God from our study of God's word. Our Bible gives us the presence of God in an omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient fashion unmatched in any other area. I suppose this discussion could continue infinitely but for time and other considerations I will close with the presence of God in and through our personal lives. For the born again Christian there is no greater experience than to know God dwells within your heart as His temple. It is through the believer God introduces others to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. Realizing this and much more everyone of us can answer the question I opened wth; do we take for granted the very presence of God? Ecc 5:7 “For in the multitude of dreams and many words there are also divers vanities: but fear thou God”
