“ Great Sermon! ”
A much needed sermon for all Christians, especially 'Christians' who have been deceived by the 'prosperity Gospel'. Pastor Colin Mercer fearlessly warns us that a 'trouble-free' life for the Christian is not the teaching of the Word of God. He also cites the examples of Joseph, Job and Peter from the Scriptures to show us that all God's children will have their share of trials. But then he offers the comforting Balm that God will never try any one of His children more than they are able to bear. This was indeed a comforting 'word in season' for ME. This is a sermon that must be heard more than once to remind us that trials and testings are a part of our Christian life and we must not be surprised or shaken by them.
