Conquering Seductive,Immoral Enemies_09Numbers 31:1-54 There are enemies in the world who are evil, seductive, and immoral. These enemies seek to tempt and lead people astray, to lead them down the road of defilement and uncleanness, of corruption and death. If a person does not stand guard against these enemies, he will be corrupted and enslaved and led down the path of destruction. God promises to reward us abundantly if we are faithful. We must, then, follow in the steps of Christ, fix our eyes upon Him: stand fast and persevere to the end—all for the joy of the reward that awaits us in heaven.Uncleanness and defilement, corruption and decay were not to coexist with God's people. The soldiers had to be cleansed before they could be reunited with the society of God's people.
