United by the work of the Holy Spirit, all Christians have been given Spiritual gifts to be used to incorporate them into the Body of Christ experientially as they use those gifts to serve one another.
No Christian has all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and there is no one Spiritual gift that every Christian must have. The Apostle Paul makes that so clear with the questions that he asks at the end of chapter 12: "All are not apostles, are they? All are not prophets, are they? All are not teachers, are they? All are not workers of miracles, are they? All do not have gifts of healings, do they? All do not speak with tongues, do they? All do not interpret, do they?" (1 Corinthians 12:29-30)
Verse 29 and 30 are very accurately translated by the New American Standard Bible because the Greek particle Paul uses expects a negative answer.
