Scripture: Ephesians 1 vs 13-14 1. The Gospel of God is Trinitarian and reveals the God who is three persons (Father, Son and Holy Spirit.)
2. The Father chose, adopted and accepted the elect in the Son, the Son redeemed all the elect by His blood and caused their inheritance and the Holy Spirit sanctifies and seals all the redeemed.
3. Those who deny the Trinitarian nature of the Godhead will find it hard to remain faithful to the text of scripture.
4. The sealing of the elect is God marking out His possession of all the redeemed. All the elect have the Holy Spirit seal, because it speaks to many things.
5. Sealing by the Holy Spirit authenticates the believer as belonging to Christ-having been baptized of the Holy Spirit by Christ Himself.
6. Sealing by the Holy Spirit means the believer cannot be possessed of evil spirits.
7. Sealing by the Holy Spirit means salvation of the elect is sure, it is permanent and cannot be unsealed by anyone who did not seal them. Thus, the Holy Spirit does not go in and out believers, not in the New Testament.
