Pastor Calvin Lindstrom is joined by Laurie Higgins, Cultural Analyst for the Illinois Family Institute, to discuss the Day of Silence. The Day of Silence is celebrated by thousands of schools around the nation supposedly calling attention to the silence of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender students. This day has been masterfully organized by the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) to promote the acceptance of homosexual practice in the name of tolerance.
Friday, April 11 is the Day of Silence for 2014. While we would encourage all parents to remove their children from the government schools permanently, all Christian parents whose children attend government schools should keep their children home if the Day of Silence is being celebrated in their local school.
