We look forward to the Second Coming of Christ. The Lord Jesus is going to return to earth, and he will fix every problem and right every wrong. This is the Blessed Hope, and we cannot be pessimists.
But we also have confidence that God will bless our labors in the here and now, before Christ returns. Through Jesus Christ the believer is heir of all of God's promises. While we do not yet see all things under Jesus' feet (Hebrews 2:8), yet we still may lay claim to God's promises to bless us with sufficient health and sufficient wealth that we may fulfill God's purpose in our lives.
