Liberal revisionist theologians often make the claim that the Bible knows nothing about sexual orientation and so cannot speak to the subject. In saying this, they teach that God is not always opposed to homosexuality.
This sermon seeks to respond by showing how the Bible addresses the issue of sexual orientation. In light of this teaching, the faithful christian, church and pastor should both contend earnestly for truth and extend grace generously to sinners.
There is no middle ground on this issue. Either one believes the Bible's teaching on homosexuality, or one rejects the Bible's teaching on homosexuality. One cannot both believe the Bible and reject what it says.
