It is becoming more clear every day our culture is becoming less and less concerned with the righteousness of God. Everyone is looking for somewhere to place the blame. I would contend the blame for the moral decline in our nation is the moral decline in the church and among Christians at large. This message is a call for Christians to a higher commitment to the purposes of God and an encouragement that God will come to our aid if we commit our purposes to Him. The promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14 is a conditional one. If we humble ourselves, pray, seek his face, and turn from our wicked ways...THEN he will forgive OUR sins and will heal our land. Will the church ever wake up? If we do, we are in for great blessing. If we don't, then we are to blame. If the salt loses its saltiness, what is it good for?
