Today’s Churches are overrun with Christians that love Politics will boycott, protest, march for political issues, Christian sports fanatics that live and die with their sports teams, cry if they lose, or their son or daughter is not given the ball, and will boast all day about their teams success yet are silent when it comes to the Lord. Lastly you have Nightclub saints who drink, Smoke, cuss, gamble, dirty dancing, and are shacked up, many support the homosexual, Abortion agenda and can be found at the movie house on a regular basis.
Yet when it comes to Gods house and the worship of Jesus Christ on Sunday morning it is a chore they straggle into the house of God cold, bitter and totally unprepared for worship after a week of worldliness.
Not so with King David and his friends they were glad, thrilled when they said unto him let us go to the House of the Lord. What thrilled David ought to thrill us! |
