Saturday, June 12th, Couriers for Christ from Wyldewood Baptist Church, will be arriving in Lithuania for an evangelistic outreach in the city of Kaunas. We will have 16 Americans here, many Lithuanians, and a missionary family from Estonia. We will have literature distribution June 14th-19th. We will have two meetings where the gospel will be presented in song and in preaching, June 18th and 19th. This will be one of the biggest outreaches in Lithuania since freedom was declared from the Soviet Union in 1990. Please, please, pray much for this. We have had much spiritual opposition this year, and need lots of prayer. Also, everyone who attends and fills out an information card will receive a free Bible. I am asking for souls to be saved, and for God’s Word to have an affect on lives.
There are many things that we are praying about regarding this campaign. There are many needs before, during, and after the campaign, far too many to list here. God knows, and just pray for His guidance.
We look forward to what God will do, using His volunteer servants in getting the gospel out with the goal of starting a new Baptist Church in a city of 450,000 people. There are 2 Lithuanian missionaries already teamed up to take the Church. But God has to move on the hearts of those invited to bring them out for the preaching and give them understanding for fruit to remain! As we have fasted and prayed for the last several weeks, will you PLEASE go to Him in prayer especially on Friday the 18th and Saturday the 19th for their souls sake.
