In a world where Church has become a Madison Square Garden production, many so-called Christians are connected to the Church experience, size of the Church, number of Members and ministries. Churches or Centers are typically led by Doctors of Ministry since most mega church counterfeit preachers have dropped the title of Pastor in an effort not to offend the secular audiences they are desperately attempting to lure, entice, bait or charm. Churches have removed the Bible, Hymns, Pews, the cross, Hell, repentance, sanctification, salvation from the worship service all in a clever marketing attempt to cash in on Jesus. And as Mega- Church leader I dare say (Pastor) T.D Jakes told a 20/20 reporter if you have a good product you will make money, and there is not a better product then Jesus which justifies his 100 million dollar a year ministry in Texas. Today's Christians are no longer connected to Jesus, they are connected to their superstar preachers, and the production they call church. The question begs to be asked are you connected to the vine. Or have you broken off? |
